How to publish event on Facebook through Flutin

Publish an event on Facebook is now easier than you can imagine.

Follow the steps below to publish the event on your Facebook profile through Flutin.

  • Go to My Events and click on the New Live Event button.

            

  • Click either on “Schedule Live Stream” or “Schedule Pre-recorded videos” in the pop-up.
    Note: The event will not be published on social media in the "Go Live Now" event type.

            

  • Fill out the basic information page.

  • Click on the Save button.

  • You’ll arrive on the “Review Event Details” page,

  • After revising all the settings and details, and clicking on “Save & Publish” button, a pop-up will appear asking you to either "Share" the event or "Promote" it.

  • Click on the "Promote Event" button and you will land on the new page asking you to click the check boxes of the social media channels you want to publish the event on

  • Click the check box beside "Facebook Page & Account" and you will see the "Event Preview" on the right-hand side of the screen

  • After reviewing everything, click the "Publish" button and your event will be published on Flutin as well as on your social media accounts.

  • Please make sure there is at least 10 minutes gap between the event schedule time and the time you are clicking the “publish event” button to make sure it gets published on Facebook.

  • You can edit the event after publishing it, the details of the event will automatically be updated on the published event on Social Media.

  • If you delete the event on Flutin, it will automatically be deleted on social media.

  • You will need to go live within 10 minutes of the event schedule time to make sure it shows live on Facebook for that event. For example, if you scheduled the event at 2 PM, you need to go live from 1:50 PM to 2:10 PM, to make sure the live event shows up for that event on Facebook.
    Note: Event can be scheduled on Facebook a maximum of 1 week in advance.
