Connect Twitter with Flutin using RTMP
Connecting your Twitter account to your Flutin profile allows you to live stream your events to the connected Twitter account.
To connect Twitter with Flutin and broadcast it to your social media, follow the steps below:
Note: Twitter Live option is currently not available for everyone.
Firstly log in to your Twitter account. Click on the “⋯ More option" in the left side panel.
A drop-down shows up, select “Media Studio” from the list. If you wish to directly access Twitter media studio go to studio.twitter.com in your desktop browser.
Once you are in the Twitter media studio, go to the producer tab. Click the source tab.
Choose RTMP in the source type.
The RTMP server URL and the stream key will now be available for you to copy. We recommend you keep this window open for convenience.
The next step would be to login into your Flutin account. If you don’t already have an account, make sure you sign up and create one by filling in all the necessary details.
Click on the “Channels” section on the left side of the page.
Select “Custom RTMP” from the list of options available. You can first add your nickname for the stream.
After that, paste the RTMP URL and the stream key generated on Twitter Media Studio. After providing the information, turn the RTMP toggle.
Now you can schedule a stream or start an instant live by clicking the “GO LIVE NOW” button.
Enter relevant details about your event and make sure you have selected Twitter in the Activate streaming channels.
