How to go live in a Facebook group with Flutin?
In addition to Facebook profiles and pages, Flutin Live also lets you live stream your events to Facebook Groups.
In addition to Facebook profiles and pages, Flutin Live also lets you live stream your events to Facebook Groups. So, if you wish to let share your live stream with the members of your Facebook groups, follow these simple steps to add Flutin app to Facebook Group:
Open your Facebook Group where you wish to live stream your events
Navigate to Group Settings and then click on Apps under Manage Advanced Settings
If you haven’t added Flutin to the group yet, click on Add Apps at the bottom of the pop-up
In the Group Apps directory, look up for Flutin and select the app from search results
Click on the Add button to add the app to your group
You can verify that Flutin has been added to your group by navigating Groups Apps and checking if Flutin is added there
Now go to Flutin Live and open the Channels section
Click on the Facebook icon provided under Streaming Channels
From the list of Facebook pages and groups that you administer, choose the group where you wish to live stream the event to
Now switch the group toggle on
Your group is now connected for live streaming. When your event starts, it will also live stream to the connected Facebook Group.
Note: If users find it difficult to go live on FB group, it may be necessary for a user to remove and re-add the Flutin app.
However, if this does not resolve the issue, it is possible that the "Live Videos" toggle may be turned off in your group. To enable live streaming on the group, the user must toggle this option ON.
You can find this option under "Add Features" section in your group. Please make sure the toggle under "Live Videos" setting is turned On so that Flutin can create Live video posts on your group.
